Introducing QwikiTodo

Saturday, May 30th, 2009

This is a mini-project that I started to get a little familiar with REBOL and Cheyenne. The other reason was that I had some specific ideas about how I want my TODO to work. I also had some wacky ideas I wanted to test but I haven’t yet gotten to that level. So without further ado

www.qwikitodo.com

So what’s so special about it..

  • you don’t have to create any account or anything to start using it
  • It’s wiki-ish – plain text editing with some wiki like markup
  • It’s got fancy ajax-ey checking of done tasks
  • you can use it for yourself, just bookmark the link to your created todo
  • you can use it to collaborate with others — just email or skype them the link
  • you can see history (previous versions with time of change) for your todo. This comes in handy by itself but is also especially nice to have when collaborating on todo list with others.

Things will still grow and improve, current state is just first update beyond initial core release. Qwikitodo has been running fot a little while now and has more than 150 todo’s already created in it (well at least 30 are mine ;) )
