An interesting observation (Google bots download many many times) that lead to some more observations (after looking at the logs many people noticed that too) was posted on indie gamer forum today and revealed some facts (about how Google really indexes internals of various binary (exe) files on net too) and lead to some speculations (that these bots must be really stupid (unoptimised) to download one file that hasn’t changed so many times) .
